  • Rainy Notes

    Verse 1
    Sitting by the window,
The sky is a dull gray,
    On an old wooden chair,
In a top attic flat, I stay
    Raindrops tap on the glass,
As my neighbor plays piano keys,
    While I sit here writing,
    In this gentle, rainy breeze.

    Chorus
Oh, the chill in the air,
    As the cold wind flows,
    Searching for a sweater,
    To warm my weary soul.
    Surrounded by red rooftops,
    Peeking through the trees,
    a church tower peak sprawls.
    In this quiet melody.

    Verse 2
    I hear the soft piano,
    As he practices his song,
I wonder if I should take lessons,
    And play along with him.
    Watching raindrops falling,
    The rooftops drenched and wet,
Like a cat caught in the downpour,
    Rainy notes, that softly tap.

    Chorus
Oh, the chill in the air,
    As the cold wind flows,
    Searching for a sweater,
    To warm my weary soul.
    Surrounded by red rooftops,
    Peeking through the trees,
    a church tower peak sprawls.
    In this quiet melody.

    Verse 3
    Black and white picture,
    Same as the piano keys,
    Moments have a vintage feel,
    Where time stands still.
    The fingers worn by tapping,
    knowing each sequence well.
    There’s a case with pencils,
And a notebook with stories to tell.

    Bridge
    Autumn’s creeping in too fast,
I feel the weight of gray,
    Everything’s so dull and dreary,
    Before it’s even day.
    A rainy afternoon,
In a few hours, it’ll be dark.
    Sipping on my caffeine,
As the raindrops leave their mark.

    Chorus
Oh, the chill in the air,
    As the cold wind flows,
    Searching for a sweater,
    To warm my weary soul.
    Surrounded by red rooftops,
    Peeking through the trees,
    a church tower peak sprawls.
    In this quiet melody.

    Outro
So many notes upon my desk,
    Like keys upon the piano,
As we both play our melodies,
    In this rainy, soft glow.
    I’ll wrap myself in warmth,
And brew a cup of tea,
While the music fills the silence,
In this moment, just him and me.

  • Trolley Problem

    Verse 1
I hate my life, it’s a heavy load,
Thought I’d be gone by now, lost in thoughts.
I’m just continuing to live, so no one will cry.
But deep down inside, I’m just waiting to die.
Everything feels empty, nothing left to feel,
I keep walking forward, trapped in the scene
Hoping for an end, but too scared to let go,
Caught in this shell, dead inside, moving slow.

    Chorus
I hate my life, I expect nothing more,
Just trying to find peace, but I’m lost at the floor.
My goal is to face the fear of the end,
Keeping it at bay, like a long-lost friend.
Waiting for the train, as it rolls down the track,
Killing time in the background, but I can’t turn back.

    Verse 2
It’s a sad existence, no one wants to trade,
No one wants to feel this pain that I’ve made.
Shame weighs on me, like a heavy chain,
In this lonely existence, I’m the one to blame.
I watch the world move, but I’m stuck in place,
Searching for a reason, but I can’t find grace.
Every day’s a struggle, just to get by,
Living in loneliness, where dreams are dying.

    Bridge
There’s probably no spark, just darkness inside,
A flicker of doubt, where I can’t confide.
If I take a step, will it change anything?
Or am I just waiting for the hope that love brings?

    Outro
I hate my life, and I’m stuck in this place,
Searching for meaning in a world without trace.
With every step forward, I feel the same strain,
No longer just waiting, I’ll stay in the rain.

    *Hidden Verse
Caught in a dilemma, like the trolley on the track,
Do I pull the lever, or just let it roll back?
Choices weigh heavy, lives hang in the balance,
In this cruel game, there’s no room for solace.
Every decision feels like a life on the line,
In a world of gray, where the sun refuse to shine.

  • Book of Poetry

For each poem, I wanted to draw one or more sketches and bind them into a book.

  • Andes

    Verse 1
Whenever the sun sets, the moon is by your side,
The horizon draws the line, where day meets night
While I’m awake and alone, wishing I were the moon,
In the night’s gentle tone, I’m calling for you.
Waiting for an answer, just silence in the room.
However, I won’t complain, as I long to see you soon
Call me Miss Drama, leading a llama on the road,
If you seek one, then I’ll let mine carry your load.

    Verse 2
With the llama, everything’s easier to do.
From the wool, I will make a fluffy sweater for you
We’re on our way, just me and you and the llama too.
Through the mountains, with dreams to pursue,
Are you really there when everything is blue?
Can I tell you everything? Is that true?
Would you be my friend in difficult times,
in this journey, through valleys and climbs?

    Chorus
Going through highs and lows, in the mountains we roam
Chewing coca leaves, that brings us soothing calm.
Sipping Inca Kola, singing all night long,
Grilling guinea pigs, even if it feels wrong.

    Verse 3
You love the high cliffs where the clouds kiss the sky,
Don’t be like Icarus, be aware, don’t fly too high.
Don’t melt like wax, take care, don’t dive too deep,
In the labyrinth of minotaurus, where ancient secrets sleep.
Like Theseus and Ariadne, I’ll give you a thread,
Unraveling the path, where our hearts have led.
No matter the confusion, don’t be afraid,
we’ll guide through, where the monster invades.

    Verse 4
You’ll slay the Minotaur, with heart and fire
From colorful wool, we’ll spin our own fibres
Creating our calendar, by sun, moon, and stars,
I’ll tie a quipu knot, as a reminder of our love
Just as tight as guitar strings, high, but feeling low
Getting higher than the peaks where coca leaves grow.
So whenever the sun rises, know I’m by your side,
With the llama walking through the Andes, our thread will guide.

    Outro
You want drama, I’ll scream very high,
Reaching for notes that touches the sky
Tune the strings higher, until C8
And I’ll cry, while nothing is okay.

  • Bluffing Hearts

    Bluffing Hearts

    (Verse 1)
Chronos comes home drunk at night very late,
Stumbling through the door, he can’t walk straight,
I’m annoyed, he’s late again, where has he gone?
He kicks off his shoes, and the T-shirt’s all wrong.

    (Pre-Chorus)
Time is going crazy, one hour feels like a second,
In the blink of an eye, summer’s gone, I’m left reckoned.
It seems like yesterday, we were newly in love,
Now we’re like a married couple, just gears that have rust.

    (Chorus)
Wrong time, wrong place, wrong space,
Time is dishonest, it lies to my face.
He plays poker with his friends, wasting our dough.
With a poker face hidden behind shades, don’t you know.

    (Verse 2)
I think of you often, in the silence of the night,
Memories linger on, but they fade out of sight.
We hugged in the sunlight, now it’s all just blue,
Chronos, is a thief, taking moments that were true.

    (Bridge)
Moments that slip like cards through my hands,
To the high stakes that we thought we had planned.
Chronos, you’re a bluffer, but I’ll find my way,
I’ll reclaim the lost time, come what may.

    (Chorus)
Wrong time, wrong place, wrong space,
Time is dishonest, it lies to my face.
He plays poker with his friends, wasting our dough.
With a poker face hidden behind shades, don’t you know.

    (Outro)
I trade the poker chips for love,
In the game of forever, I’m longing for you.
With every high card I play, you bring eternity near,
In this all-in moment, I’ll always hold you dear.

  • Good Night

    Title: Good Night

    (Verse 1)
Nine hours ahead, or maybe a delay,
Is it you or me? Is it night or day?
It’s high time to close my eyes,
As I lie in my bed, clouds slowly passing by
My eyelids heavy, they want to fall,
But I keep them open, I can’t let them stall.
Staring at the blue light, a glow in the dark,
This connection we share, is a thread of art.

    (Chorus)
So good night, my dear, as the stars start to gleam,
In the silence of night, you’re the heart of my dream.
With the moon up above, and the sun’s gentle kiss,
I’ll hold onto this moment, it’s a beautiful bliss.

    (Verse 2)
My head feels heavy, resting on the pillow,
Nestled in the sheets, the night is so mellow.
Pulled by gravity, like planets in flight,
The sun and the moon dance, in the soft twilight.
My last thought before I drift away,
Is of you, I hope you feel the same.
The blue of the night, the moon shining bright,
In this space, i want to kiss you good night.

    (Chorus)
So good night, my dear, as the stars start to gleam,
In the silence of night, you’re the heart of my dream.
With the moon up above, and the sun’s gentle kiss,
I’ll hold onto this moment, it’s a beautiful bliss.

    (Bridge)
I’ll sketch a constellation, just for you tonight,
A handful of stars that bind us in light.
A new day will dawn, like a loop on repeat,
But for now, let’s sprinkle stardust in the night.

    (Chorus)
So good night, my dear, as the stars start to gleam,
In the silence of night, you’re the heart of my dream.
With the moon up above, and the sun’s gentle kiss,
I’ll hold onto this moment, it’s a beautiful bliss.

    (Outro)
So close your eyes softly, let the world fade away,
In the link of love, we will meet us someday.
Kissing to good night, let the dreams take their flight,
In the play of the cosmos, stars shine ever bright.

  • Soothing Breeze

    Verse 1
My window’s wide open, I gaze at the night,
Clouds moving in, no stars shining bright.
A fresh breeze rustles, raindrops start to fall,
They tap on the glass, a soothing call.

    Pre-Chorus
Late summer’s fading, feeling the heat one last time.
In this attic apartment, lost in my mind.
A few cars pass like ants returning home.
Surrounded by dark clouds, I’m here alone.

    Chorus
Oh, it’s a thunderstorm, far beyond the horizon,
Flashes of white light, nature’s own divine.
A theater of wonder, a show from the skies,
It calms my restless heart, as the world sighs.

    Verse 2
It’s bedtime, but I’m wide awake,
A night owl listens, as the melodies wake
Another cup of tea, my favorite song plays,
Fears drift in silence, as night softly hazes.

    Pre-Chorus
I wish you were here, but it’s just me tonight,
Lost in my thoughts, in this dim table lamp light.
Life feels so heavy, oh, what am I doing?
Disappointment lingers, but my heart keeps pursuing.

    Chorus
Oh, it’s a thunderstorm, far beyond the horizon,
Flashes of white light, nature’s own divine.
A theater of wonder, a show from the skies,
It calms my restless heart, as the world sighs.

    Bridge
It’s amazing how quickly the mood can shift,
Like the weather changes, it’s a constant drift.
One moment I’m soaring, the next I’m so low,
In this unknown forest, where do I go?

    Chorus
Oh, it’s a thunderstorm, far beyond the horizon,
Flashes of white light, nature’s own divine.
A theater of wonder, a show from the skies,
It calms my restless heart, as the world sighs.

    Outro
Accompanied by your melody, so is my heart,
Better with a companion, to light up the dark.
Traced by your tracks, holding onto melodies,
In this calm moment, where my heart feels the breeze.

  • urban sketching

A few years ago, I bought a book on urban sketching, and it has been a great source of motivation for me. But drawing architecture is quite a challenge for me.

Photography has long been my companion in exploration while traveling through various places, allowing me to freeze moments in time.

  • Matchstick

When the blue fades into black,
    And the streetlights turn on,
    Footsteps disappear along the track,
As the nightingale sings its song

    I am walking here alone,
    where the hope has gone.
    Underneath the pale moon,
I hope i will see you soon

    It’s getting colder and colder
As the night pulls me closer,
    It’s getting darker and darker
as the edge of a black marker.

The moon gets covered by clouds,
    Casting shadows, shrouded in doubts.
A whistle is in the air, trying to keep a secret,
in its pockets, its ink starts to leak.

    I leave a message, a silent trace,
On every surface, in every place.
Like other strays who roam the night,
In a shelter in the absence of light.

I try to hide in the dark,
    between trees in the park,
With every step that I take
My shadows betray me, leaving a trace

All I can see is a dark silhouette,
    A shadowed shape I won’t forget
Lurking around, my heart starts to race
Should I be afraid or can I feel safe?

Please don’t leave me behind this fall,
I need a sign from you, just one call,
Even if I have lost my phone, I search every booth,
In a long, dark coat, hat pulled low, I’m seeking proof.

You stand at the roadside, like a stalker
My hands seek safety in the pockets
Please give me a hint, my secret lover.
Otherwise I’ll break open the locker

    All I want is certainty
    that don’t blur the clarity
All I want is to hold me close
I need this warmth, as my daily dose

A match falls softly to the ground,
    Leaving echoes, a gentle sound.
In your hands, a flame you guard,
A flickering light, a glowing heart.

    You stand before me,
Yet the awe is too great.
In your gaze lies a secret,
    That leaves me to hesitate.

    I just feel too embarrassed,
    I’m trying to cover it,
But I only make it worse,
And more awkward with each bit.

I wonder how you handle this,
how you turn the dark into bliss.
In your presence, I feel so small,
    Please don’t let me fall.

Where did you get your matches?
Mine always seem to burn out.
I strike a spark that never catches,
While I’m left in flicker of doubt.

What do I do with the burnt-out matches,
I toss them aside as memories of the past.
So many attempts that couldn’t last,
Each spark a flicker, that went out too fast.

  • Staring at the screen

    Verse 1
    I drink the black brew,
    even though it’s not good,
    like a homeless drifter,
    roaming through the neighborhood.
    Brushing teeth, I force myself,
    spitting out the dark remains,
    still not dressed by afternoon,
    in my joggers, feeling plain.

    Chorus
I think of you, even if it feels wrong
listening again to my favorite song
over and over again from dusk till dawn
I’m lost in the notes, that you’ve drawn
Since hours, I’m staring at my phone
Leaving nothing unturned, not a single stone,
I’m waiting for you to make a call,
Hoping to hear your voice through the fall.

    Verse 2
Oh, I’m drifting in this chaos,
though I wanted to be neat,
    ignoring all the advice,
that could help me find the keys.
I turn the music on loud,
    it’s chasing away the clouds.
Amplify the noise that thrums inside
I don’t care, even if I lose my drive.

    Verse 3
I wander through the city streets,
though they say it’s not so wise,
    too dangerous, they warn me,
    I’m seeking the midnight sky.
    Playing through the night again,
while I should be doing more,
    leaving tasks and calls behind,
like bats avoiding the light’s roar.

    Bridge
Not rich, nor a perfect life,
    just the hustle, daily strife.
    Dreaming of the artist’s way,
    while my sketches fade away.
Eating junk, too lazy to cook,
    throwing out the green rottens
Putting a frozen pizza in the oven,
Counting coins as I’m broke again

    Verse 4
I know how to ruin a life,
    tended to destructive souls,
they say I’ve brought them down,
but I’m just lost in my strolls.
I can be quite positive, too,
    when I’m not feeling low,
I know where to find the joy,
but I choose to take it slow.

    Verse 5
    It’s freaking cold outside,
I’d rather have a warm shower tonight.
An unmade bed with scattered dreams,
A pack of tissues for all the tears.
They’re like guardians, soft and true,
Whispering comfort as the night ensues.
They keep an eye over the blues.
And here for wiping away the hues.

    Outro
    I’m celebrating the chill,
    Letting all the worries spill.
Nothing matters than thoughts of you
I soak the brush in your ink’s blues
wasting too much time in front of the screen,
Drawn to the blue light’s glow scenes.
Let’s drink mojito from all this lime juice
Painting a canvas with colors that we choose.
