  • time thief 🕵️‍♂️

    Aug 23, 2024

I look at the clock; it’s 11 PM. I take a note, blink once, and suddenly the clock shows 3:38 AM.

Sometimes I wonder if my clocks are broken because time passes so quickly.

Someone must be stealing my time. I can’t explain it. 👻 🤨

I bought a few new clocks (and of course, I’m aware that it’s not the clocks’ fault). 🕰️ ⏰ 🕒 ⏳

Hey, you time thief, if you read this, please give me my time back! 🔫

(You have more than I do).

  • Roasted and Brewed (Oh you’re my caffeine)

    Aug 23, 2024

I’m currently writing some poetry or a love song about coffee. ☕ 😳 😄

    Roasted and Brewed

    Ohhhh coffee,
I am restless, I don’t want to sleep,
I don’t want to rest, I don’t want lie in peace.
I am agitatiated, I don’t want count sheeps
I don’t want to chill, I want to hear my lungs wheep.

    Ohhhh caffeine,
I need you here to stay, I want you near,
I need you to keep me awake, I have no fear.
Let’s prepare for a dark night. I tap the black piano keys.
    swiping through sharps ( ♯ ) and flats ( ♭ ), every note a plea

    Ohhhh my little cup,
you’re as hot as a blue flame that can hurt
with just a sip, my tongue and lips burned
love at first sight is like a play with fire
leaving a trail of fuel, a matchstick ignited

    Oh my little spark,
No concerns, no regrets, no regards
fire follows along the trail of a red thread to the heart
hydrogen plus oxigen reaction’s igniting the spark
Shadows dance in the illuminated halls of the dark

    Oh my black,
I see through your opaque dark liquid, a tempting sight
I like all of your shades, black or blended with ghost white.
you evoke memories like old photographs with a sepia veil
Where your bittersweet cloak tends to unveil

    Ohhhh my daily dose,
Every day I can’t resist thinking about you.
lost in addiction, I crave for an overdose of you,
When I see you, my heart starts to race,
I feel the rush of love, as you set the pace.

    Ohh my beloved,
I am drown in your black ink of matter,
The glass falls to the ground and shatters.
A random mishap, I can’t handle the situation
Everything soaks in ink, before I realize the delay

    Oh sugar,
you’re my caffeine, you’re my universe, you’re my love
I find myself endlessly drawn to you, like the stars above
You’re my cane sugar, you’re my grain of gold, you’re my love
I stir my heart with a spoonful of sweetness, my greatest treasure trove.

    Oh heart,
I am so hopelessly in love, I just want you,
My addiction is devoted to you,
You have hooked me on a thread,
I can’t resist the pull of the desire that I dread.

    Ohhh my flame,
Without you, I feel restlessness and jitter,
Like a candle flickering, my flame starts to quiver,
There’s love in the air, that is you
I need you to breathe, all I need is you.

    Ohh my poision,
you’re my stimulant, you’re my remedy
you take my lethargy and turn it into energy
you had switched the light switch to ‘on’
In the rays, all my worries and fears are gone

    Ohh destiny,
Fate spilled my cup, left coffee strains,
In my notebook, where a trace of you remains.
This blot of ink is like a handwritten note,
On yellowed pages, covered by sunlight’s coat.

    Ohh my lover,
you go through the pages, and take a look behind,
you read the tales and the depth of antique mind
I want to brew you to 200°F and watch you sweat
Then cool you down gently, like a soft sunset.

    Oh my love,
I would stay up all night just for you,
To show you your worth in everything I do.
I’d do anything to keep us side by side,
Holding you close, never letting go of this bind.

    You’re my love
    You’re my spark
    You’re my space
    You’re my time
    You’re my string
    You’re my everything
    Oh you’re my caffeine
    you make my heart race
    You take my sleep
    You’re my dream

  • love is in the air ❤️

    Aug 22, 2024

After a long drive and an argument during a car ride… see the poem long drive. This car freshener is supposed to spread love. The prettiest car freshener I’ve ever seen.

I think I’ll wait until I finish my studies and can afford a new car. Then I will hang it on my rearview mirror.

This is currently my motivation item to get through one more semester.

  • lens cap

I still need to buy a lens cap for my camera. The camera is way too old. Before I eventually get a new one, it will serve its purpose one more time.

  • Cellar & Moony

    Aug 21, 2024

As I’m into poetry writing, I am currently crafting a story about the couple Cellar & Moony (equivalent to Roofie & Sunny).

Damn, “Cellar” with an ‘i’ sounds like “Celery.” >.< And “Cell” sounds like a prison cell, while “basement” feels too modern.

I’m also considering how to represent Cellar as a retro cartoon character. How could Moony hug, kiss, or otherwise show affection for this cellar?

Perhaps I could depict Cellar as a section of a room with a wooden staircase leading down into the space, along with a few bricks, similar to Roofie.

I want to combine their story with the short story of Roofie & Sunny, which leads to a dilemma.

The title for this combined story could be “Love is in the Air.”

Once upon a time, there was a couple called Roofie and Sunny. Roofie was an attic apartment, while Sunny was the sun (obviously). Roofie often felt overwhelmed by Sunny’s vibrant energy; her heat was unbearable. Roofie wanted to sleep and dream and longed for a cooler lover, like Moony.

Then there was another couple called Cellar and Moony. Cellar was a cool and chill place, while Moony was the moon (obviously). Moony allowed him to rest nicely, but Cellar wanted to stay awake and longed for a warmer lover, like Sunny, appreciating the sun.

Sunny and Cellar begin to flirt and develop feelings for each other, but they cannot be together because they are already committed to their respective partners. They can only look at one another, yet the distance between them feels vast.

    Loose Thread

    (Verse 1)
In the target store, I’m drawn to your charm,
You’re lost in dreams, a scene so calm
A moment of dancing, as I see you pressing play
With every move, you show me the way.
I see you sinking in the sound, I remember what I see.
    A loose thread. ctrl+c, I follow your moves, ctrl+v

    (Chorus)
ctrl+c, I’m drawn to your dance
ctrl+v, I follow your moves at a glance
Then you catch my gaze, and time stands still,
Did I cross a line, did I do the wrong thing?
ctrl+z, I want to rewind, take back my play,
but you smile softly, ctrl+shift+z, inviting me to stay

    (Verse 2)
In this fleeting dance, we’re lost in the flow,
With every key pressed and every step taken, we know
You laugh, and I stumble, but I’m ready to try,
With a chance just one click away, just a blink of an eye
Redo the undone lines, in a verse to behold
We lose threads of the web and let the story unfold.

    (Chorus)
ctrl+c, I’m drawn to your dance
ctrl+v, I follow your moves at a glance
Then you catch my gaze, and time stands still,
Did I cross a line, did I do the wrong thing?
ctrl+z, I want to rewind, take back my play,
but you smile softly, ctrl+shift+z, inviting me to stay

    (Bridge)
The space is full of chances, we tread the place
With every decision, we cross our paths,
So let’s go through the errors, facing the unknown,
In this endless space, our threads have flown

    (Chorus)
ctrl+c, I’m drawn to your dance
ctrl+v, I follow your moves at a glance
Then you catch my gaze, and time stands still,
Did I cross a line, did I do the wrong thing?
ctrl+z, I want to rewind, take back my play,
but you smile softly, ctrl+shift+z, inviting me to stay

    (Outro)
So here’s to the moments, the keys that we play,
Pitching the off notes, we learn from our mistakes,
With every key sequence, we’re controlling the fate,
Just one press away, do not hesitate.

    (Verse 3)
Caught in the moment, my heart starts to race,
Felt cute, cheeks flushed, I can’t stay faded.
I need a friend, with you I’m feeling fine.
We’re linked, it’s just you and me and I.
Won’t delete later, this memory stays on hold,
as the music plays on, we’ll lose track of knots

    (Verse 4)
I hold your shoulders, following your lead,
In this dance of trust, I’m led by your thread.
We lose control and do everything with ease.
We take it pretty slowly and let our worries cease.
We’re so close together, I hear your heart beat,
We encountered each other like in opportunities

    (Verse 5)
Did I just step on your foot or was it gentle touch?
With each misstep in our dance, we both blush.
Is it a playful flirt or embarrassment? … leaving it up in the air.
As I tapped the keys, the clumsy notes came then.
We’re hugging through the night, I feel alive by your side
the run in my tights, is a sign for carefree delights

    (Final outro)
So you take a step, and I follow your lead.
We dance like a pair of red threads in a movie scene.
So we take a step forward, then a step back,
accompanied by piano, we find our own track.

  • Long Drive

    Aug 16, 2024

    Long Drive

    (Verse 1)
In a glove compartment, he finds a portrait of her,
A glimpse of the past, memories that stir.
With a heavy heart and a sigh of regret and lost hope,
He drives down the highways, searching for what he has lost.

    (Pre-Chorus)
He remembers the laughter, the playful fights,
Holding the door for her, those sweet summer nights.
But the road stretches long, and their nerves stretch too,
And it’s picking up the pace now as he starts to break through.

    (Verse 2)
Spilled drinks and arguments, the tension ignites,
just a moment ago she fells asleep, he covers her tight,
That was yesterday; now lost in a fight.
today she won’t look in his sight and stares outside

    Verse 3
He slowed the car down, fearing a crash,
Afraid that his anger would lead to a clash.
He pulls to the side, with tears in his eyes,
“Please leave now,” he plea, as their love burns out.

    (Pre-Chorus)
He takes all the bills from his wallet and presses them in her hand,
A desperate goodbye, as they both try to understand.
His phone keeps ringing, but he swipes each call away,
silence settles in, as he thinks of turning back to the place.

    (Verse 3)
He left her behind in a hot desert like hell,
A place filled with danger, where love turned to despair.
He carried the burden of what he had done,
Hoping she’d find solace under the unforgiving sun.

    (Chorus)
He looks in the mirror, and he sees her there,
Caught between sadness and happiness, two portraits he both bear.
In the rearview mirror, the past fades away,
The further he drives, the more he leaves her behind each day.

    (Bridge)
Then fate brings her close, in a moment so bright,
He feels his heart lit, as she fills him with light.
A new spark ignites, with warmth that enchants,
Caught in this moment, where love takes its chance.

    (Verse 4)
Her lover walks in, and the tension runs high,
She looks deeply in his eyes, igniting a sigh.
“Do you believe in fate?” she softly inquires,
As he grapples with flickering a longing desire.

    (Chorus)
He looks in the mirror, and he sees her there,
Caught between sadness and happiness, two portraits he both bear.
In the rearview mirror, the past fades away,
The further he drives, the more he leaves her behind each day.

    (Outro)
He looks in her eyes like in a mirror,
It’s like copy-paste of their thoughts, that repeat.
In parallel universes, where chance meets the risk,
He sees himself in her, lost in infinite regress

  • After Dark

    Aug 15, 2024

I’m currently listening to Mr. Kitty’s ‘After Dark.’ I could listen to this track for hours. I love the music video on YouTube featuring Frank Whaley and Jennifer Connelly, showcasing scenes from the movie they starred in, ‘Career Opportunities.

It wouldn’t be my first thought to depict such scenes when I hear the music, but in a way, the music fits the movie scenes very well.

I wonder if I’ve seen this movie before. I think I should watch it. I find the way the encounter in the target store is displayed very romantic

There’s also a playlist on YouTube featuring the best songs by Mr. Kitty.

I love the dark atmosphere and the backdrop of 80s electronic beats, infused with retro synthwave vibes. It evokes a sense of cyberpunk. The sound carries haunting psychedelic rock and a pessimistic mood that resonates deeply.

It’s perfect for those nights when you’re alone, allowing for melancholic and dark thoughts to surface. There’s a sense of acceptance in being an outsider, and a calm acknowledgment of the fate that everything is doomed, which brings a certain peace.
