I have some new ideas for illustrations.

First, there’s the illustration for the music poem – dancing leaves or leaves dancing the waltz. This would depict a romantic couple, with the lady represented as a leaf and the gentleman as another leaf, dancing together, perhaps in the wind. In the background, you would see a record player. I also had a similar idea of two musical notes dancing together or two records.

I suppose someone has already had this idea but didn’t write a poem to accompany it as an illustration.

Another illustration could be a tree with post-it-notes hanging from it instead of leaves, where each leaf represents a note. A person stands below, shaking the leaves of the tree, and the notes fall down like leaves.

Another idea for an illustration is a tree with music notes, and a breeze comes by, blowing the music notes off the tree. So, it would be a tree with music notes as leaves, and the leaves or musical notes would blow away.

Another idea from the poem could be that a bird nests in a person’s heart or brain. Brains don’t look very nice, but perhaps it would be enough to just depict a head with a bird nests.

And drawing a couple of two red threads that are dancing and swinging in the air.

I have a folder here filled with lots of sketches like these, but it’s difficult to realize them the way I imagine. That’s why I wrote it as a poem.

I would like to print a small book at the end with poems and illustrations to go along with them.
