Now that would be an idea for an illustration.
Two resp. four eyes looking at each other – the mirrors of the soul reflect each other …and create an infinite regress.
And infinity must arise in some way. In the background there’s space.
Inscription could be:
This is what I see when I look at you.
Looking through infinity.
But how to draw this?
