Waltz of the Leaves – music poem part 7

Verse 1
Sitting at this table, been writing for hours,
For you, I’m risking everything, as my hand cowers.
I write through the night, that reveals me like red wine,
my weakness is being too honest and way too kind
Finding no rest, I choose the ink over sleep,
vivid verses, but between the lines, they dream
Hoping for a sound, like a chirp from above.
Nothing can shake me except the person I love

Chorus
I lose so much time, searching for the words to find you
but I lose all the words, as I hope one will find you
Every sheet of paper falls like leaves from the tree
Each rustle in the foliage tells that you’ve shaken me

Verse 2
I don’t know what you’ve done with time or with me,
The hour hand spins as if it’s running out of time endlessly
I just want to keep this eternal moment in this place
but you make eternity feel like it quickly fades away
In a blur of seconds, too quick to perceive
Like star sparks, they leave the atmosphere
trying to remember the sequence of memories
is like re-singing the sequence of notes in a melody

Bridge
your presence feels like a lovely bird,
nested in my thoughts, hearing the serenade of chirps
Makes the moment so beautiful, gentle, and kind.
A melody of comfort that calms my mind.

Outro
Each note jumps from branch to branch,
In the rhythm of the wind, a waltz dance.
their pitches flies carried on the breeze,
A symphony of nature that puts my heart at ease.
